If you teach multiple courses, you can now copy assignments to other courses. To copy assignments to from a source to destination course, you must have the Assignments > Copy to Other Courses role permission and you must be enrolled in both the source and destination courses. The permission is turned OFF for all roles by default.
Learning Outcomes and Competencies (Learning Objectives) cannot be used together. If Learning Outcomes are associated with a course, Competencies cannot be used in assignments. To switch an assignment's alignment from Competencies to Learning Outcomes, you must first remove its alignment with a Competency. For more information, refer to About Learning Outcomes.
Evaluate assignments by providing feedback and selecting a rubric associated with specific learning objectives.
You can evaluate a learner's assignment submissions from Content even if the learner didn't submit anything to the assignment. As a result, you can assign comments and grades to learners with no submissions (for example, a grade of 0), and to learners who submitted work outside of Brightspace.
Use assignments to provide efficient, timely, and meaningful grading and feedback. Create and edit assignments, review submission details, evaluate submissions, associate assignments with rubrics and competencies, and return submissions with grades and feedback. On paper and observed in person assignment formats are also available.
