To find your computer name using either Windows 10 or a Mac, following the instructions below.
Windows 10
Right-click the Start menu and then left-click System.

The computer name is listed under Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings. It should include a building code and a unique serial number (i.e. BURD-554YHT74).

Mac
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences

Choose Sharing.

The computer name for your Mac appears at the top of Sharing preferences.
