On the Activity Stream, you'll see what's due and what needs your attention. Items are sorted into the following categories:
- Important (items that need immediate attention*)
- Upcoming (next seven days)
- Today (everything happening and due in the next 24 hours)
- Recent (last seven days)
You can jump directly into course activities from this list! In addition, you can configure your activity stream. Due dates will always show, but you can show or hide some activity. Click the gear icon in the top, right corner to open the Notifications Settings panel, adjust the notifications you want to see, and click Save.

*Once dismissed from Important, you won't be able to view that item again. When dismissed, the original content isn't affected - the notification is just removed from the activity stream.
