An instructor has the ability to export and import all course comments that were written by them.
This was created in order to save instructors from doing the same work over and over.
An instructor can duplicate all the comments they wrote in one course to the same videos in another course (meaning: if you are teaching the same course in another semester – you can use the comments you already created with their built-in time-tagged, no need to write them again).
Exporting & importing will be only of the instructor’s root comments.
-
Students’ comments will not be imported – keeping a private discussion per course.
-
Replies will not be imported - as they are a part of the original course's discussion.
-
Comments from other instructors in the course will not be imported - to keep the privacy of each instructor.
This can be done by clicking on the Export\ Import buttons in the dashboard.
When a course is duplicated (or copied) - you can use your comments from the original course and embed them in the new copied course.
