In order for your students to see their attendance, you will need to create a link on your course menu.
1. In your course on the Content page click on New Unit at the top of the menu.
2. Name this unit Attendance.
3. In the html editor you will want to click on the Insert Quicklink icon.
4. After clicking on Insert Quicklink, choose Link.
5. On the Link information page, insert the following information.

Open In: New Window
Click on Insert
6. Move the item to your preferred location and be sure to show the link.
