How to Upgrade Mozilla Firefox (Windows 10)
STEP 1: LAUNCH FIREFOX
- Click the “Start Menu” icon, and start typing the following: firefox
- “Firefox” should appear in the search results. Click on this to launch the Firefox browser.
STEP 2: ACCESS THE “ABOUT” SECTION OF FIREFOX
- Navigate to the top right hand corner of your browser. You will see three lines stacked on top of each other this is known as the hamburger icon
.
- Click on this icon, and navigate to the bottom of the sidebar. You should see the “Help” option. Click this option.
- In the “Help” section, new options will appear. Click “About Firefox” to access the version number of Firefox.
- The “About Firefox” dialog box will appear. Firefox will automatically start downloading the latest version of Firefox.
STEP 3: RESTART FIREFOX AND VERIFY VERSION
- Once completed it will ask you to “Restart Firefox”. Click this button to restart the Firefox browser.
- After the browser restarts, click the Hamburger Icon >> click “Help” >> “About Firefox”. Firefox should show the following: “Firefox is up to date.”
